That only goes for the mundane items, the unique items that can only be taken once can be pretty useful. The book and stone of Gelel, Enchanted Tools, the 7 legendary swords that are definitely more than 7, chakra armor. Random kunai and swords are useless but the section itself has some good stuff in it.

Nekomaru is ADHD incarnate. He can’t just stay put, and even if he’ll make an effort to sit down and shut up, he’ll be. constantly shifting in his seat or stimming somehow. The swing of his tail is his main tell.

Hibiki thinks that he should focus more on his specialty - getting better with Supersonic Scream and Concealment Arts, so he can spam it from stealth and incapacitate opponents from long range by using it through Hypersonic Mind Wave'd animals. He also really wants to learn Medical techniques, since those are the best chance of getting his vision back.

In reality, he'd probably be most effective if he invested more in Genjutsu - Bringer of Darkness would be really good with his skill set since it has no effect on him.

Depending on how good he gets with medical ninjutsu and if he grows up to be corrupt, he might try stealing a dojutsu from someone. I doubt that will happen since it would take a lot to push him into that kind of mindset, and most of the cast seems too kind to let him get that far.

I always thought transplanting Dojustu was relatively easy since they’re filled with chakra and near the end of the series obito and madara are popping them in their sockets like usbs in the middle of a battlefield, but they’re harder to maintain cause they constantly drain chakra if you’re not speshul enough. Thats 100% headcanon though, I have nothing to support it.

An unorthodox genjutsu technique for enhancing the user. Using time dilation, automated sensory processing, input filtering, and various other tricks, Tenseiken is meant to emulate and enhance ‘the zone’. Her success rate is, as always, impeccable. She wasn’t rude to any of the foreigners in months. Was it her slipping fundamentals? She had to cut practice down to six hours a night to fit in more research, but she’s so close to a breakthrough in her jutsu she can almost taste it. The last five monthly progress reports had been clear on this, so why now?

Being torn away from her responsibilities and training to lecture to people who prefer to stick kunai up their nose instead of into enemies has ruined her mood. That she’s been sent to the Getsugakure Academy, a place she escaped as fast as shinobily possible, has made it even worse. But a proper ninja doesn’t let their feelings get in the way of the mission. Hitomi will give these students the shinobi education she wished she had gotten, even if she has to drag them kicking, screaming, and sometimes bleeding to it. She can totally handle educating a bunch of toddlers with attitude. Right?

Hitomi is a loyal ninja of Getsugakure, descended from the original families that invented the Hazy Moon, and even as utterly decayed as they now are, she still holds their pride close to her heart. Their replacement by the new system of foreign mercenaries has her doubting the royal family, and the current plan of training shinobi and just sending them back has her doubting their sanity. But there’s nothing to do but preserve the art as best she can. She hopes to prove Getsugakure genjutsu still thrives... even if her experiments have almost nothing to do with those arts any more.

Throwing this out here as a potential future connection between builds if you're interested, but one of Nana's summons is a big cat-esque intelligent spirit that knows how to use the Reaver Claw technique. Because of Discharge he could technically spam Hyper Beam, since at some point he gets 10 times less cooldowns.

I've been mulling over ideas on different power system compatibilities/manifestations as I've slowly worked on an intro for Harry, although it is at a glacial pace as I've found myself mired in more and more unfortunate scenarios which I've been dealing with as they come. It's not all too bad, just some time sinks to take care of.

As to the prompt, Harry would gravitate towards Earth for its reliability regardless of if his natural affinity happens to land on it to shore up his defense and give options for battlefield control. I don't know exactly how TM pools work or what are within them, but Harry's natural typing would lean into Dark.

For the rest of the powersystems Harry only focuses on what techniques provide the most value for the least amount of investment necessary. For Dragonball something like the Kaioken would be out of his range of interest as it requires a significant journey to learn in, especially considering the Technique's inherent drawbacks, but Potential Unleashed would be up his alley as not only does it require getting his potential unlocked but its also extremely low cost of a transformation. He's not planning to just speedrun through the different zones, as there's plenty they can offer outside of their power systems, but he doesn't need much beyond the basics to get started, especially if he uses his Grimoire to fast track with personal study on his own. Investing too much time into one system might not net as much as moving on and using the saved time to develop multiple.

Been working out a Nen ability for him as well, but it's still in its rough stages since I already know I'm going to make him a Specialist. Not sure if Binding Vows can stack but thinking about how much I can play around with them since Harry can make Binding Vows for every power system.

Genuinely no idea, her abilities are guaranteed to be a complete mess of random options in the long run.

Ignoring the elephant in the room, Six is guaranteed to pick up physical abilities whenever she gets something new from Talent because of Strings. Combined with her monster origins, her traditional element is probably Earth.
By Naruto logic, she'd be strongly Yang aspected, which would naturally lead to Steel Release, I think. Iron threads are cool, so that works for me.

Her pokemon typing would definitely be Fighting/Dragon, with a focus on buff moves and big physical damage. Factoring in adaptation, though, it may as well be randomly selected with Sketch in there several times.

As for the other power systems, her magic crest gives her a big skill boost whenever she gains access to them, focused around physical stuff. So, naturally, she'd be stacking Kaio-ken x20, Eight Gates, Belly Drum, sacrificial enhancer Nen vows, Flowing Red Scale, and anything else to punch and kick really, really hard.

For those you'll probably need to look into anime games themselves. Another interpretation is taking a limitation of an ability, looking at bypassing the limitation, and then the consequences of that. Something like an exploit or rng manipulation to guarantee Black Flashes or gather natural energy for Senjutsu while moving. Of course, there should definitely be drawbacks; the risk of crashing, going OOBs for a period, or crippling himself in some other way. Basically, maximize high risk and high reward.
Finally, it also makes sense that against less glitchy things... he just can't exploit them as well. Go all in on making Acid Rain and Bad Eggs instead; no real harm in picking one power system to master. As long as he doesn't go solo, he has team members to shore up his weak spots for a reason.

Three parts.
The first is essentially a warm-up and athleticism test, really just a bunch of physical exercises, running, lifting stuff etc.
The second part is the tough part, it's short (3m) individual sparrings against her. They are done in the order of how well the kids did in the first part, with those who did best going first. In a fight, you can make up with a good plan what you lack physically, so the order is a chance for the physically weaker students to gather the extra data to even out the playing field a bit. Myorin would keep it safe and give the kids a chance to show their moves, but she'd try to push them into giving it their all. The kids can use non-taijutsu skills, but she'll push into close range to force them to supplement it with taijutsu if they want to create openings for it.
Third part is discussing how the sparrings went. She wants to learn why kids fought the way they did, and what do they think they could do better. She's not planning to force kids to replicate her style of combat, and instead try to give them the tools that match their talents, so first she needs to learn what those talents are, and this is what that's for.
Since the test is mostly to get to know the kids, the whole point is to verify her initial assumptions, but based on her expert eye and seeing the kids walk-in, her ex-ante ranking is:

The way I always saw it is it takes a team of a Rank to semi-reliably, high-difficulty beat the next step up.

A team of Genin probably beat a single Chuunin. A team of Chuunin probably beat a single Jonin. A team of Jonin probably beat an Elite Jonin. A team of Elite Jonin probably beat a Kage. All of them struggle hard, lose 1-2 people and aren't guaranteed to win.

The numbers are exponential though, 9 Genin don't beat a Jonin because the Jonin is counting bodies from the first few seconds.

I will warn that Nana's summons whole gimmick is that they are all greedy bastards that charge exorbitantly (it's why Nana is extremely loathe to ever summon them). While the exact summon in question, Hichiru, is probably the one that's the most fair... that's only relative to the others. She still charges 50,000 ryo per hour, which (assuming 1 ryo=10 yen) would be about $3,200.

Nana wouldn't bring it up with Myorin, but Momika probably would. Nana would need an oral exam as well or she'll do terribly. Not because she's as dumb as a rock, but because she doesn't know how to read very well yet. Grew up in a poor fishing village until less than a year ago and the only one who could teach her anything since then was Momika, who might not be the best on that front and definitely didn't have enough time to really drill literacy into her skull.
Maybe Nana's literacy level would be a factor to lower her score, but not being able to answer most of the questions because of it would probably go against the point of the aptitude test.

I did throw cold hard cash into the build when I learned more about the items section, so she does have capital at the moment. It's everything she's earned while stealing and hustling with Momika prior to coming to Moon.

But having a debt & money counter to keep track of in writefags would be kind of fun actually. Like at the end of a fight, putting down the debt prior and post battle that carries through to the next fight. Or if she finishes a mission or does something else to earn money, her money count goes up (with the possibility of going down depending on what happens).
It's something Nana would definitely be mentally marking down every time she did anything with a summon.

Kosshi doesn't really have such thoughts, and she'd be perfectly content if she never had to fight. Following that, she'd prefers to end fights quickly and with little pomp. I imagine she'd continue as normal while mixing in an ash bone to make sure the next blow is fatal. Alternatively, giant skeleton mech, but that's certainly not something she'd regularly employ.

Ah, I didn't realize the Uzumaki clan got wiped out so long ago in our timeline. I'll probably have to do something different with Sumio's family history than what I've been thinking of then. If the timeline could work out though, then Aisuke would likely hate Sumio after hearing his family name (for reasons I've been ironing out). Though I could just do something different if need be.
