>Thread Question: If you had a choice between inherent power at a level of 5/10 or borrowed power (owing to the consent of a changeable [but friendly and somewhat predictable] entity) at a level of 10/10, which would you be inclined toward? We'll say that neither case has potential for an increase in power.

I have a bunch of monster related abilites: I can craft or modify custom monsters with tailor made abilites, tame them to sell or use as personal servants, turn into them with my spell for combat and utility (as well as other monsters I know of thanks to Survival 1) and even have the option to eat them for permanent boosts (which is especially nice since I can customise their abilities). Luck protects me and helps me gain the resources I need to fuel my ascent, and there are a few magic boosts as the cherry on the cake.
Starting 1000 years before canon because I really need the time to ramp up. My abilities should make me incredibly valuable to Ganesha so I hopefully shouldn't be put in too much danger.
Edited to drop Voice and switch out Spirit for Mage so I can make my awesome spell even more awesome.

I have access to a shitload of kekkai genkai, both through myself and my summons, plus the ability to gain more very easily (and both of these should be greatly enhanced by Blood). That's on top of my own prodigious skill in ninjutsu, and ability to gain more affinities and chakra through my ring. I should hopefully be able to greatly outscale my rival, and I have the Heart to further tilt things in my favour. Worst case scenario I summon Mahoraga and we both lose, though I intend to tame this guy before that happens (Truth Seeking Balls go brrr). I also plan on obtaining my own personal rinnegan through drinking the blood of Sasuke and yoinking some Hashirama cells.
Turns out it was not, in fact, the last time. Swapping out unarmed combat for substance production (blood), since it should probably stack with my Kekkai Genkai.

>nxtub may be my favorite author if I judge only by the depth and originality of their settings
I remember when Nxtub first released Tavern Master. Did a major rewrite practically overnight, when people started seeing it as an allegory for Jim Crow/Apartheid.
But yeah, I'd definitely like to see what nxtub could do with time/staff/money behind him. A novel? Sone sort of exotic new video game? Something else?

In a somewhat safe-feeling situation the 5/10,
but in a desperate situation (like Peil's Space Hell) the 10/10.
The 5/10 kind of situation is much more common in cyoas, most don't make you desperate & afraid for your life right out the gate.

Assuming that we can obtain s4+ boons, if you use them to become a beyonder of a path that is good at deduction or information gathering, there is no need to buy potion formulas of equal or lower sequence than your boon sequence because you can just feed characteristics to something to make it a demigod and look at it to know the most important parts of the potion formulas.

Literally how? It’s a buff—and a summon. Mashed together. A suit of living spectral armour basically. You are more or less summon-buffing your allies. If they’re too stupid to coordinate then perhaps you can coordinate themselves for them. How is that a bad thing? Maybe they can break out of it, if they want to. I don’t know. Probably not.

>You should take it if you’re maxing levels.
I guess if you start at level 4+ then waiting for the next level up is not an option because of how slow leveling gets.
but at the same time I don't understand why someone would do that because it feels like a very short sighted strategy, sure you have really high stats compared to other adventurers of the same level but stats aren't everything and you end up missing out on great skills, spell or even training to really take advantage of those stats.

potions? there is one expensive potion that heals all wounds and status effects, no idea how expensive cure-alls without the healing effect are, but at least they should exist
there is also magic armor that improves your resistance to status effects, so now I'm starting to think resist is even less necessary than I thought

Perhaps you want to dominate a cyoa with your build, because then its success/popularity is YOUR doing.
Or you want plenty of (You)s, and you're bound to get engagement this way.
Or you're schizo for real and dump all of the conflicting thought patterns on the threads, which results in multiple builds.
Or you're just obsessed with the cyoa for some reason (lore, mechanics, companion, visual UI) and keep returning to it like an addict.
Or perhaps you're trying to falseflag 'empty' support of the cyoa, hoping the general opinion turn against it and you'll never have to deal with it again.

Easier because Comic hasEtienne to kill off most of the potentially hundreds of Superpowers/near-Superpower tier beingswhile this just has and will only ever have six/seven Superpowers. Also, you get in on ground-zero before the Second Summer Of Love or equivalent doomsday scenario starts up.

I read this out of curiosity and just finished it. I didn't know the CYOA was based on anything. It's an interesting concept and I liked the ending, but I agree with >>97632512 - it's got that quality that isn't exactly "woke" but just sort of full of itself. Like most superhero media it felt disconnected and contrived, but without the moderating force of camp. It's interesting that the CYOA removed the heaven/hell dynamic and the different classes of super along that axis

Oh? What about the NSFW ones that had actual plots and settings? You can have a very serious, very worksafe adventure in Divine Trials, Harahel, Pantheon of Pleasure . . .

Imagine:
1. You make a build in this cyoa
2. You buy ingredients, you put them in your fridge
3. You set an alarm clock to go off in the middle of the night
4. You go to sleep
...
5. The alarm goes off, you wake up in the middle of the night, creating a premise identical to this cyoa's
6. You make a sandwich exactly according to the build you made in step 1
You have isekaied into the world of this cyoa! It is possible!
>>
>>97633212
Actually this isn't right, it says you're deciding what sandwich to make only during the cyoa, ie you should buy ingredients for all possible options, and fill out your build only after waking up in the middle of the night and immediately before composing the sandwich in reality.

The pay is crap, ofcourse, but the perks go a long way in making it worthwhile. The goal with them and the co-workers is to try and provide as much protection and comfort as possible. Considering switching out Elijah (afraid his plans will get me killed) for Miguel, Maria or Sophie. Maria because she a cute, Sophie because she might be able to offer protection and Miguel because he seems like a nice guy. Main reason I probably won't go with Miguel is because I see him dying very horribly, very easily.
As for the threats, I'm hoping I can just hide from or ignore most of them. The Shadow doesn't even seem that bad. Just need to be a little playful but firm on boundaries.

the way I see it, instant summon is kind of a panic button for when shit hits the fan, so:
>Satyre
+has quick summon of it's own and their high intelligence means they will quickly pick up the situation and how to escape it.
-less controllable than the other low summons
>vortex
+instant portal is great to escape any situation, very unlikely to fail
-no versatility, you can only use this to escape and not to turn the situation around
>nolgor
+physical powerhouse
-very dumb

Noble. Principled. Virtuous.
Has a single main ability that is extremely strong in a 1v1 fight and several lesser known and lesser used ones that make him hard to out maneuver.
Rarely speaks about himself and never about his abilities
Has a family somewhere unknown
Does not try to force individuals to do anything, but hopes to inspire them. Wouldn't kill a tyrant until after he had examined the political landscape and found a suitable replacement (Not himself)

>>
>>97633570
Vortex and Psychopomp are so much better than the rest that it isn't even a fair comparison
Psychopomp is the simplest one here, it's an instant "fuck your magic" summon that let's you do magic but stops everyone else from doing it. a nice panic button more or less
Vortex though is by far the best one since you can pre-summon everything else and then have them sit in a room which the vortex will lead too, then when needed you place the second vortex letting you both retreat into building that has hopefully been warded to keep others out and you get to send out whatever you had waiting there. can even be used outside of combat, you can keep spawn, gobs, your Satyre there and only bring them out when needed.
only downside is of course after each use you need to redo the vortex and travel back to where you were again so hope it wasn't super far away

>Vortex though is by far the best one since you can pre-summon everything else and then have them sit in a room which the vortex will lead too

that seems like a waste of energy, you are just putting yourself in more dangerous situations because you will start tired in every conflict.

Anyone have that one cyoa where you're given a selection of waifus/worlds? I remember one of them was some kind of futuristic breeding android made by the government to stop the falling birth rates and you'd get a government stipend for every child you had. Don't remember much about the others

But humanities survival abilities would also expand, and by alot more given the informational fog
Also, people might even be able to stay in their lane at some point. The entire comic was just about retards suffering from their interventionalist policies and then learning nothing
(And the cyoa existence will be anon suffering for his pathological need for affection and his harem whittling away his sanity)
>>
>>
>>97634230
Would it really expand? It might help if two retards fight without prep time and only a single planet gets destroyed. But it also creates a huge amount of space that can't be effectively policed, which is brutal for the cyoa where the main concern is one supreme accumulating enough power to make an attempt against the others.
And in the comic this is a death sentence because apparently there's hundreds of world ending super powers that will come into existence unless pruned by a telepath.
>>
>>97634230
>>97634260
I'm gonna be honest I would genuinely trust a bunch of anons here with superpowers more than I would the average population
>>
>>97634260
You can't just wander out into the void and find a planet
A light year is (3e8)(31,536,000)=9e15 meters
You could shoot out 10,000 earth destroying blasts and they wouldn't hit anything
Unless you know what you're looking for, any planet is alone
Not to mention that almost all of the supers seem able to live in space, meaning the number of "Me and my harem" types will be limitless
Would you really risk starting shit when the void is both empty and filled with people who could hypothetically be mad at you?
When there is literally never a clear path to victory?
>>
>>
>>97634303
You can expand that to most of this site (SOME boards excluded because they are basically mental asylums) and it'd still be true.
And anyway, just about the only thing that matters is who is the telepath. Anyone else can be dealt with, but the telepath can literally hold all of humanity hostage. Oh sure he can't breach your mind at first but he CAN threaten to have every single person you've ever liked kill themselves.
This is why the only viable choices are either supreme telepath or supreme sorcerer. The supremer sorcerer could, in theory, hop to an alternate dimension where the telepath can't reach them or threaten them and then go on to make a ritual to bind the telepath to a single body so they can be killed, even if it'd probably take some time to acquire the materials.
>>
>>97634331
Also, unlike the comic, I don't think any of the other Superpowers can automatically detect who the telepath is. So, unless the inventor and the sorcerer can bullshit something up, they can just keep hidden and act through a proxy.
>>
>>97634345
Sorcerer says you can do whatever the fuck you want with enough time and ritual. It's literally the "prep time" pick.
I'm paranoid enough that if I were to gain such powers I would know to erase all memories of me from all who know me and then hop over to a dimension where I can't be reached and spend the following weeks making up a spell to get rid of the telepath.
It really just fucks everything up to have such an insanely powerful pick because even if you can't fight you literally hold all of humanity on your fingertips, you cannot have a fair balance of power with someone like that on the board, it'd be like fighting someone with nukes when you don't have any.
>>
>>97634331
The most likely person to actually fuck with the telepath is the bionic guy, but only if they are willing to abandon their humanity and become a sentient cancer, spread to the brains of every living human at once and then simultaniously change every available human to be just barely ineligible to hold the telepath
If you can trancend the normal ideas of what a mind is and become a distributed conciousness yourself then you can technically just be the telepath but better (And you can also cure all disease and make everyone immortal, if you don't want to body-jack them)
But that just makes you the same thing but worse (Or better if you care enough about eternal youth)
(Spreading cancer has happened before, and the cyoa said that you could replicate other supers, which would obviously include your own. The telepath is aware of thoughts and feelings, not the actual internal structure of a mind)
>>
>>97634396
This is why I can't see myself picking anything other than sorcerer. He is the only one capable of fighting back or even reverting that sort of "fuck up the whole human race" kind of thing that the telepath or biokinetic could do.
>>
>>
>>97634429
As it stands, the telekinetic is a better inventor then the inventor
You get a team of scientists together and you could make a dyson sphere in an afternoon with the ability to Create parts with atomic precision and send them instantly to space
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>97634466
Well yeah, pretty much no one can just give their powers to people. Also I remember the author saying the inventor can hand out their inventions, just not the overly impossible things.

Only the inventor cannot use his powers to majorly help others
>Maybe for you, but for me tech is good because it does things you otherwise couldn't.
The reason technology is strong is that it allows people to operate at scale
If you were on an island and you needed to kill a big boar the ideal solution would never be to build a gun and shoot it
If you had 1000iq the solution you find would be to trap the boar and beat it over the head with a rock
The benefits of technology only exist when working at scale with other people
Technology without scale is just a shittier form of having powers

>>

If CYOA were real, it would have a few implications:
1. The author wouldn’t be the actual author and they’re more so channeling the narrative (however accurate) via the fictional medium. Who knows where this is getting beamed from.
2. Some alien intelligence is entertaining the narrative. It’s all a simulation. This is due to the fact that humans don’t currently have this level of processing power.
There wouldn’t be a natural multiverse-themed dimension where your favorite fiction exists. Not naturally. For Naruto’s reality to exist something needs to put it into place. It’s like arguing that the 21st century could naturally occur without humans (or some other intelligent form of life capable of manifesting infrastructure) around.
>>
>>
>>
>>97634669
Yes, sure, that's how I imagined my Danmachi build also. But I was responding to someone who responded with "Danmachi" to "Isekai slop is never worth it". If all cyoas are "isekai slop" then it's not a meaningful category, but it's useful if applied to cyoas about isekai media (like Mushoku Tensei) or cyoas that are explicitly about isekai.

>Immutable limitation
>Permitting only a small community to benefit
They literally cannot benefit from it

>>
>>97634662
If we assume there are infinite alternative universes with infinite variations in their laws and physics it is garanteed that there would be at least one reality that perfectly matches the Naruto's reality or any other fictional work.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>97634703
No, we would also need to assume the variations were all encompassing and fairly weighted
If we are being honest, the world of naruto doesn't actually function very well with atomic physics, maybe it being pen and paper is for the best

> No. If you manage to terraform Mars completely, mankind can indeed live there. The terraformed Mars doesn't count as your tech as it is typically not a piece of machinery that would require maintenance from you (see 4.)
also: https://www.reddit.com/r/makeyourchoice/comments/1iaj872/the_superpowe rs_v2/m9qcrpm/
> That's why some of their limits are hard-coded within their powers, like the need of the Inventor to perform some regular maintainance and configurations of his tech, limiting the amount of stuff he can have at a time, and the factor that makes his tech prone to malfunctioning the more it is advanced and the more it is widespread / mass produced, or else there would be nothing preventing him from taking the normal, expected path, build a solid personal arsenal that put him on the same level as the other five, and then just mass produce it and make an army of Superpowers-like minions.
>>
>>
>>
>>97634524
>imagine the damage to the multiverse that would happen with so many anons choosing be the god type cyoas
anons would just get sent to lesser alternate multiverses, their actions would have little impact on the important closely overlapping multiverses.

>>97634703
There are some things that are just too mathematically improbable, for causality to form alone, without taking extra steps.
Again:
— For Naruto’s reality to exist something needs to put it into place. It’s like arguing that the 21st century could naturally occur without humans (or some other intelligent form of life capable of manifesting infrastructure) around.
It’s be very silly to assume that something as sophisticated as 21st infrastructure could just naturally pop into being without an intelligent enough species to evolve in order or meet its requirements.
Nature alone would not form a perfectly carved statue of Buddha having gay sex with Jesus. Oh, and both are wearing MAGA hats.
Some concepts *require* intelligence. As they would not form otherwise.

It’s a good example. You’d be stupid to assume that there’s some alternate universe where nature conveniently took the shape of perfectly conceived gay sex. It extends to everything. Grenades won’t grow on trees.

Oh you retard
We are a string moving through an n dimensional space
All things have happened and will happen, because every possible set is just information that does and does not exist
Logic and natural laws limit our path through this n dimensional line to a 1d flow of time (Or possibley something a little more complicated but it doesn't matter)
Anyway regardless time could have started seconds ago and it would make no difference, because the raw information and perception are two distinct things
Naruto, the idea, has already happened. The concepts, regardless of how ill fitting they might be, can be assembled into a subspace. They have defined moves and reactions to moves. They can be represented in time
It's on the level of chess
>>
>>97634478
I don't understand the dilemma here, the illusi were just chilling until the tsutani went full manifest destiny and decided to kill everyone else. Why would I side with the tsunari? (apart from the horns making them the hotter race)
>>
>>
>>97634755
He’s saying that “everything everywhere every when all at once” has steps to take. Shit doesn’t just happen. Christ. Your favorite anime dimension likely didn’t just form the way way we did. It’s likely a sub-creation within, or something externally tweaked without. Causality is unintelligent otherwise and won’t care to form specific shapes for the sake of your escapist logic or fantasies, hopes and dreams, etc.
>>
>>
>>97634759
I think its a utilitarianism thing, do you kill a lot of people in the wrong for a smaller number of people in the right? Or let it go forever(?) and end up with more total deaths but neither group wiped out in a stalemate
might be an allegory to some irl war idk
>>
>>
>>
>>97634774
Which do you doubt:
>The reality we live in, up to a certain margin of error, can be represented by a very elaborate simulation
>And given simulation with n variables can be reconstructed as a path through an n dimensional space, where the simulation dictates the path via some artitrary function. (You can think of this like the dvd logo bouncing on the tv screen. it is moving through a 2d space via a function defined in it's code)
Given both of these, it does not seem strange to say that we could define a given arbitrary path through the n dimensional space, or that said path could follow any given rules
>>
>>97634795
Nope. It’s just not happening. Not without the necessary steps. You’re being way too hopeful, here. It’s like of like believing in a God at this point. This is why escapism is brain rot. You end up assuming physics can take any shape at any state/point and doubly assume you were unlucky enough to be born elsewhere. You being born here is why you feel cheated at all, in the first place.
>>
>>97634803
It’s sort* of like believing in God at this point
(I’ve always seen the argument that “fiction can be anything! and this extends to the multiverse!” is no different from believing in an Omnipotent God, personally; a variation of it to cope with modern day reality and all its limitations; some just don’t like the shape it takes!)
>>
>>
>>
>>97634808
>It's just possible
I’m saying it’s “possible”, but not in the shallowest sense. You’re not having some anime themed universe without a guiding intellect to reinforce its outcome. Same way you’re not having 21st century without humans to conceive of it and manifest it. Nature doesn’t care about what you want. Not until it produces something that does.
>>

I started reading this comic, and I have to say, I feel like I'm missing something.
The comic starts and shit just...keeps happening without any explanation. It just keeps happening and talking about shit that happened like you're supposed to know what it is. It's like I walked into the 150th chapter of an ongoing comic.
Also, like literally everyone is either brown, black, gay, or a combination of the three. They basically killed off all white people or some shit.

>>97634829
You are assumed to be familiar with comic staples and learning as you read is considered "Cool" and "Hip" among these circles, instead of having a plot that is interesting to reflect about
It's like 40% flashback.
It's actually pretty dogshit at that. People keep hiding things they shouldn't hide and then everyone figures it out instantly after we are told about it
The liberal american thing only gets worse as it goes. The holocaust is mentioned multiple times and is a main driving part of the story
>>
>>97634832
You’re assuming Naruto can start at step 1. Nope.
If human infrastructure is a step 2 by way of intelligence, then this is even more so the case for something like anime.
Intelligence is a massive gateway for possibility and I find it disturbing how you think it’s not. Something as artificial as anime (or human infrastructure) could not happen without the intelligences required to even conceive of such concepts.
>>
>>
>>97634832
>move to Naruto
Cool. That destination is still an artificially conceived one. Fiction is art. Who made it? Certainly not the author since they’re not capable of doing such a thing beyond the pen and paper.

Imagine a mathematical ball bouncing in a mathematical box
The ball is a set of 3 spacial variables and 3 velocity variables.
Each set of 3 spacial variables and 3 velocity variables leads to a different one when the "Time" function is applied
All of the input parameters exist, and we choose one simulation from the 6 dimensional space to run,
Then it changes to something we also could have had as our input
Similar to a line through space, this is a line through our simulation. Any point that gets on the line stays on the line and every point on the line cane be described in one way
It's irrelevant
Do you think a game of chess cannot exist without a chess player?
Do you think a square would not be straight if none were there to admire it's edges?
The mathematical object arises directly from the axioms. Anything else is someone projecting their delusional powerfanatsies through an uncaring mathematical object

Nope. For all your talk of lines, you still fail to realize that physics IS a line, and some threads lead into other threads, in order to thread their very way/existence.
Causality is actually impossible to avoid. Anywhere. Even in an existence where everything everywhere every when happens all at once. Things still *happen*.
>Do you think a game of chess cannot exist without a chess player?
Do you think chess could exist without a human to conceive or invent the game? Or any other intelligence for that matter? Do you really think unintelligent nature would produce a perfectly square l, checkered chessboard? No. You’re not thinking far back enough. This is why you’re misunderstanding. You’re not transcending. Transcend.
>>
>>97634907
This assumes reality determines its contents and not the converse . If space defines energy then given a configuration of space, energy should spontaniously apear to match it.
This is obviously absurd and directly contridicts the second law of thermodynamics. Thus we must reason that energy defines spaces and ergo reality. If this is so, then the only rules that can exist are that of our own and any theoretical reality that requires different rules cannot exist.
Thus Naruto is not a possible alternate reality, though a very similar world may be possible via bending the rules.

It's not the worst comic ever, but it's barely a superpower story in any sort of way. It's just a story where a bunch of tumblr users were turned into deities. It's an absolute mess of random flashbacks and jumps and cuts.
It really sucks, because the general idea of "a bnch of random people gain the power to basically fuck up all of humanity and have to deal with each other" is kinda cool, but it becomes too retarded.

Neither side interests me. The weapon destroyed my people so I won't use it unless it's absolutely necessary. Both sides want to end the war easily by committing genocide which is not the answer. This weapon wipes out an entire race of people instantly. A single bad king doesn't warrant the elimination of all of their people, and self proclaimed geniuses that can't foresee obvious threats need to work on their logistics. They can both deal with their own problems themselves.
I'll save the final weapon for a real threat. Over time both Illusi and Tustani will learn to co-exist especially when the current Tustani king is dethroned and reform happens from within their kingdom. Also, the Illusi should've seen this coming and bred themselves harder. They claim to have great minds but didn't think to expand their numbers. As for the Tustani, Ellisa the girl speaking talks smack about her own king and flat out admits the war wasn't justified, which means her own people know. In time they will act on that knowledge even if they were culturally brainwashed. Even with our own human history the monarchs of the past held absolute authority yet in time they were abolished for this gay democracy/republic crap we have going on now.
So in short I don't care to get involved here. Deal with your own drama. I'll use the final weapon for a proper threat like a world ending invasion from an outer god or something, not something as boring as a generic world war that will resolve itself in another century tops.

Bell was faster than a lvl 3 as a lvl 2. Let’s assume Bell has SSS (1500) rates of speed both as a lvl 1 and a lvl 2. He (Bell) was comparable to the lvl 3 Hyacinthos. We cannot be sure how high Hyacinthos’ stats were for his preceding levels, but this is still a good example to draw from. The level boosts for Hyacinthos were not enough to surpass Bell’s.

Magic is incredibly one note (meant to do direct projectile damage, buff allies, debuff enemies, etc) in the same vein as jrpgs. It’s not one note in the unoriginal or uninspired sense like the magic system in Mushoku Tensei. It’s actually extremely potent and effective in what it does. It just takes a long time to cast, usually, but not always. No truly reality breaking or game breaking magic like time travel, unless it’s by the gods. The magic is made with the “game” in mind. Mages only usually get three spells. Only special snowflakes get more. In theory the gods could tweak the system but it’s for their own amusement.

I'm back
You really are a very religious person, you know that?
Nature doesn't exist, without light there is no shadow, intelligence can only determine the limits of it's own understanding etc etc
>You’re not transcending. Transcend
We could define existence by the boundries of my perception, but then there is no speculative intelligence at all, as anything that exists does so through me.
A thing is what it is, and it can't be what it's not. If two things are the same in every external way, they are the same. If we were able to logically differentiate them, as we are external, they would not be externally the same
From this it follows that in any system where information is created chance must be involved, and must truly be involved at the moment the information is added
If you roll a hypothetical dice under a hypothetical cup the dice lands on all faces an equal amount until you lift the cup and create the information
The laws of the universe are all things they could possibly be, with some uneven distribution
The things we have seen are not inherent, and nothing was set to exist or not exist
Given this, any system with logical rules could have existed, or even ones with rules that change
Within a viewpoint there is not single nature
Also, you seem to view time as more of a necessity then it is, as though everything starts as a primordial sludge and then must be shaped into being. Things in these hypotheticals don't start, or stop, or anything else. They simply exist in the gradient or they don't. There is no beginning because every edge is the same as every other, it would be pointless to declare one of them a start
Anyway this whole thing is kind of getting into the mud. I think I will go think about cyoa's

The Supreme Biokinetic
Feeling cute, might create biotech horrors beyond man's comprehension and uplift humanity later, idk
>The Supreme Telekinetic
Sebastián Flores
Male
Mexico
Showmanship
I would've given him uncompromising or naive if I didn't already want to give those to other Superpowers. Can traits repeat? Tried to put them all(except Akemi) in places where they'd be encouraged to try to improve their corner of the world.
>Supreme Body
Claire Kent
Female
American
Naive, Certainty
I decided to give America a Super(Wo)man, you're welcome Americans
>Supreme Sorcerer
Kyōko Akemi
Female
Japanese
Uncompromising, Superior
I blame you guys for going on about weebs
>Supreme Inventor
Hao-ju Ceng
Male
Taiwan
Generational: Zoomer
I ran out of good traits. Still, Zoomer on Inventor should limit some of his danger potential.
>Supreme Telepath
Ekaterina Lisina
Female
Ukraine
Diplomat, Cunning
Classic tard wrangler Telepath, except without uncomprimising, so they're not as incentivised to be invasive and create friction with other Superpowers
>Events
New-Gen[6 months]: They're here to keep the other Superpowers busy and buff up humanity a bit for what's coming next
First Contact[5 years]: They're my excuse to get the other Superpowers on board with uplifting humanity into a spacefaring civilization
>>
>>
>>97635877
Why yes, by " improving the world," I meant subverting the nearest old world "superpower" because I don't trust them in a world where powers become real. There's still more to be done about the rest of the world, but I'm sure 4/5 of them can be convinced to help.
>>
>>97635634
Initially nerfed, later buffed. The supernatural will arrive slowly, which means that the physical world will initially have only a faint connection to the spirit world, making abilities reliant on the latter weaker. However, because >>97635650, those same abilities will become stronger.

matterjeet literally believes that if something is 'obvious' enough he doesn't need to try to justify it in any way. It is literally impossible to change this dude's mind, you will inevitably just reach the point where he goes 'oh you really believe X? lmao' and just keeps repeating that like a broken record.

It's the habit of someone who wants to "Win" instead of finding the right answer
Perhaps they were told they were smart as a child (Like 80% of all children) and they made being smart and sciencey a core part of their identity despite being ill suited for such things
I should probably be more glad then I am that I can care about truth and think about mathematics

Freya: Everyone hates each other.
Loki: Treats itself like an actual family. That’s kind of gay.
Ganesha: Filthy monster loyalists. Likely smells.
Hermes: Liars and deceivers. Forced to lie about my level.
Ishtar: Women who hate men.
Demeter: Dude, corn. Dude, wheat.
Njord: Dude, fish.
Soma: Dude, beer.
Hephaestus: Dude, swords.
Hestia: Dude, Bell.
Did I miss anything?

Are those pipes and intercoms? I thought this was a medieval setting? Shouldn’t everyone be aware that their world is basically a simulated video game, by such a point, or have video games not been invented? I don’t see any guns?

The hades design really is baller not many settings acknowledge that demeter was not only a plant and farm goddess but also was directly responsible for the seasons occuring because of her own depression
Also just imagine how strong she actually is when her being depressed means the entire frickin world changes and people just start dropping like flies

When Gaia is mad the world cracks like an egg. When Ouranos gets mad the entire atmosphere goes away and the world gets cooked.

There IS mass manufactured magic-tech. The school district is a flying magic-ship. But it’s never explained who or what built it. Surely there’s technology capable of killing even levelled heroes? Perhaps the world’s Mystery makers live there.

Applying realism to anime physics is silly when what decides the lethality of an attack is proportional to the seriousness of the situation (your funny death ray used to silence your friend from hitting on your sister totally won’t kill him in that moment LOLZ and then the viewer laughs XD).

I hate her outfit. It looks worn and tattered and the ribbon that's connected to her arms just looks uncomfortable.
Is it meant to convey she's a trash-tier goddess that can't even afford proper garments?

Ok genuine question, it says status thief is normally illegal? Does that mean that theoretically every god can use it, it just breaks the rules to do so, or does it mean this ability is illegal to use if you actually have it?
