I tend to enjoy all the support/sustainment skills most. I may be totally off base with this but I suspect that someone with moderate combat skills can often win against a hyper-specialized combatant if the former has survival skills, medical, stealth, whatever. I would like to see some CYOAs that got more granular with that, though. Rather than "medical" - for example - it could be field surgery, chemistry, herbal medicine, physical therapy, particular specialty fields, and so on. You could even include something like sewing that could be applied to medicine or gear repair. Obviously not all of those would make sense across all settings, but I think in almost any case a CYOA is more fun the more specific you get, assuming that's matched with an ample number of points/choices.

Raise doubles as an elemental aura or shield. Exalt doesn’t.

Nothing states you can’t use Metamagic to concentrate your Raise’s boosts to a single statistic. All power boosts can be translated into their relevant stat.

I think Wink is one of the best spell in the cyoa, invincibility no matter how short is great, and get better and better the more skilled you are at combat, and since it's tier 1 and with a very short effect it's likely a single word to cast at most, the existence phasing sounds like a really nice effect to have with Metamagic too (I had not think of getting it as a skill since I had already took it, but I would likely want it as a spell anyway).

Obviously, the martial artists who fight under their martial arts rules have a huge advantage over other martial artists who practice another martial art. Like a kickboxer generally will demolish boxers because boxers don't know how to deal with kicks fighiing under kickboxing rules and a MMA practitioner will generally get destroyed by a jiu-jitsu practitioner fighting under jiu-jitsu rules because MMA is balanced they know a little of everything but jiu-jitsu is hyper specialized at grappling and will outgrapple most opponents. Dominating other martial artists at your gym is nothing to brag about, it is to be expected. It's like bragging about how good you are at FPS games when playing against fucking MMORPG players. Of fucking course you are going to win, you have every advantage you could have. And it says nothing about which game/martial art is superior. A Boxer will destroy a Muay Thai practitioner under boxing rules, but if they fight with no rules, my money is on the Muay Thai user as they can punch, kick, elbow, knee and sweep while boxers can only punch.
