>>220465983 I still haven't managed to actually watch the daredevil/punisher stuff and still am annoyed about the first punisher series missing the mark so badly and skipping all the punishing. Not sure what they were thinking there. >Yeah we're doing the punisher but the whole season will take place AFTER he did all the mass killing ????
The Marvel Netflix shows were all bad. Yes, even Daredevil. But some how people felt that the casting was done right and something about the tone made people gloss over just how hollow, lame and trash it was. It is weird that Marvel as a brand is so over that nostalgia for some Netflix shows is about all they have in their tank.
>Daredevil season 2: Frank is sort of pre punisher but on his crusade killing and is called the name by public and media. Officially embraces the punisher moniker at the end
>Season 1: Frank is wrapping up being punisher. Wants to stop. CIA gives him a fresh start with a clean record and tells him to stay outta trouble. Ends with him in counseling.
>Season 2: Frank is trying to live a quiet life working construction. No longer the punisher. Gets dragged back into being the Punisher by trying to save a kid. Show ends with him finally committing to being the Punisher
>Born Again: Frank is still the punisher. Lives in isolation "plotting his next kill" as Matt says. ... One Last kill: Frank is grappling with being the punisher, has PTSD and seeing "ghosts" of his past essentially talking to him (judging from the trailer). Dragged back into being the Punisher as the city descends into chaos.
>Brand New Day: Frank is... seemingly still operating as the Punisher. Has clearly ran into Spiderman a few times at this point who I guess constantly lets him off the hook.
>>220465983 I was looking forward to it and somehow in just these past few days I realized what it was actually going to be about, 40 minute bullshit """special"""" about Frank crying about PTSD and only wearing the Punisher skull at the end
These specials are retarded, just make them 70 minutes, what is this bullshit of making it 40 minute long like an episode from a regular tv show?
>>220465983 In 2005, I fucked Jon Bernthal on the train tracks behind a Ross Dress for Less. Man, his ass could grip. Real tight, not a hair on it, and a sphincter you could only dream of. I had fun at first. But he was so weirdly macho about it. He kept saying things like “thats right bitch, am I gonna make you nut?” and “fucking fag I bet you can’t wait to bust in my fat hairy man ass hahaha faggot”. I just ignored him and kept railing. He continued unironically calling me his bitch and a fag as he had several hands free prostate orgasms spilling seminal fluids onto the train tracks, getting more angry and dominant after each one. “Yea i bet you like dudes. You look like a pussy” he’d say “there’s no way you burn local.” I just kept clapping, wondering wtf is up with him. After about 20 minutes of railing Jon’s boypussy, drenched in sweat and his cream, I finally got a nut off despite his constant berating and degrading comments. He immediately hopped off, laid flat on his back and bent his legs over his head so the cum dripped out of his asshole directly into his mouth. “The fuck you looking at? You like this gay boy?” He kept saying. After he got every last drop. He cackled like a rooster and punched me in the face as hard as he could. He nearly broke his hand, but I was fine. “Fucking fag” he said as he limped off into the sunset, shaking his wrist. That was the first and last time I fucked Jon Bernthal on the train tracks behind the Ross Dress for Less.
>>220466773 >trash "Oh no Samantha Mathis died I need to have a personal vendetta against this one man instead of wanting the entire concept of organized crime to disappear forever" Not my Punisher.
>>220466830 I was probably being a bit hyperbolic in retrospect as it is way better than most of the shit they put out now but yeah it is another example of why did you make this character the punisher then? Same issue with burn local man.
he's killed more people in this like 45 min thing than he has in the 2 full seasons he had in his own show and his appearances in both versions of the daredevil show.
>no post credit scene >doesnt tell us when this takes place >events take place within the span of literally 1 day this does not answer why he wasn't in born again season 2 sigh
The first half of that was pretty damn bad imo but once the action got going it was a pretty decent John Wick clone. It reminded me of the arcade game lol, endless waves of goons and you fight with whatever weapons they drop. It was comic booky and fun. I can't take the grunting and yelling seriously anymore but the killing was like A-
>Marvel mandated needle drops everywhere >First half is Jon Bernthal crying for 20 minutes >Violence isn’t as wacky as Marvel Knights or as brutal as MAX so it ends up feeling like a more tame Dirty Laundry >Frank for some reason does the Derek Chauvin neck kneel on a white guy Also that better not have not been /ournigga/ Barracuda as the henchman
>>220467276 i get where you're coming from, our intro to bernthals punisher was "you left men hanging from meat hooks" but in this its just punch kick shoot stab. The creativity in how frank gets his kills is one of the more entertaining parts about the character and its just not even touched here.
>>220467122 Jon Bernthal was simultaneously filming this special, Brand New Day, and The Odyssey all at the same time so he was unavailable.
I also think the writers simply couldn't figure out a way to justify Punisher and Bullseye standing in the same room without killing each other (and the latter already fulfills a similar role as a demented vigilante massacring the bad guys).
>>220467374 That’s not that impressive you’re basically just stabbing a guy with a knife. I want to see Frank shove a guy into a meat grinder/incinerator or feed him to a polar bear.
>>220467335 The biggest part missing from the charm of comics punisher is his cold narration, he's more like Dexter than anything but no adaptation wants to use that part of him.
>>220467390 >I also think the writers simply couldn't figure out a way to justify Punisher and Bullseye standing in the same room without killing each other (and the latter already fulfills a similar role as a demented vigilante massacring the bad guys). Robbed yet again of unhinged ultraviolent comic kino for the umpteenth time. Could have replaced whatever shitty Punisher special spinning the same salad spinner rendition of "retired Frank" there has ever been.
>>220467457 The cartoonishy fucked up bad guys are half the point of Punisher, but they keep toning everything down to be as safe and boring as possible
>>220467920 >but they keep toning everything down to be as safe and boring as possible I think it's because these shows sell themselves as being "gritty and realistic". I also see complaints against how comic booky Born Again is compared to Netflix Daredevil because the latter felt "raw and realer".
>>220466834 Stay strong, Kastlebro. That faggit Matt went to prison so he's taking it up the ass every day like a good catholic faggot. Karen's vagina belongs to Frank's chadcock
>>220468452 You should watch the first season of Punisher it's got some really cool moments. When it was a fresh interpretation I think Bernthal's Punisher was less disliked. Now I think his version character has become really repetitive and boring at times but his Netflix Daredevil Season 2 appearance was really good and the first season of his show wasn't always great but it had really great moments. Now I would like them to do something more comic book coded, but still extremely violent which is not what we are gonna get with the new spider-man unfortunately.
>>220468612 I know Peter faggot Parker will probably convince Frank to use non-lethal rounds just so Brand New Day can have an action scene with Feank >>220468611 >Heather got so buttblasted over Matt she became a lesbian Sasuga, Matt
>>220468612 Yeah I'll give it a shot tomorrow. I never finished DD but liked what I saw of the first two seasons. Hopefully they do more, OLK was the first Marvel thing I enjoyed in a while.
>>220466544 You wouldn't last one goddamn minute in a room with Jon B. You'd tap out after like twenty seconds of him staring you down. Real ex-Marine guy like him, dude you'd be shitting yourself. Be humble alright? God bless.
>>220468699 >I know Peter faggot Parker will probably convince Frank to use non-lethal rounds just so Brand New Day can have an action scene with Feank I think he still kills people, it's just as gory or violent in the shows. Like one of the leaks mentions he shoots down several Hand ninjas to help out Peter, which annoys him.
>>220468981 Punisher should be slop, the entire premise and appeal of his character is basic: he kills bad guys. Don't know why his Netflix kept attaching a CIA conspiracy plot over origin story. It's like how all the Blade movie needs to be is Blade killing vampires but Marvel instead kept writing scripts involving an epic fantasy plot and a young female successor.
GLOBAL FREEZERS might be here. I have never been in this part of Gaza before, GLOBAL FREEZERS could be anywhere. I HATE GLOBAL FREEZERS. The smell of locals burning feel good in his snozzle, vibrating his tank and wash away his (merited) fear of hospitals after dark. "With a tank, you can drive anywhere you want", he thought to himself, out loud
Where the fuck are the Avengers throughout all this (there are two organizations with that name at this point)? There's an entire district in NY that's crawling with crack addicts who are casually shooting each other on the street. None of the other NY heroes are doing anything about it?
>>220469142 That always felt so retarded about Daredevil and The Punisher. Both are realistic enough (very stretched for Daredevil to be realistic but still) and then they're supposed to exist alongside shit like aliens invading NYC, it just doesn't feel right. They should've had them in an alternate normie universe where none of the other Marvel shit has happened.
It was alright, good fight scene escaping the apartment complex and I like the new suit. I remember there being some rumor about the wheel chair character being somebody else from the comics but its just a random old lady
Hey guys I don't ask for much but like, can this be deleted please? I remember watching the punisher with my ex like 8 years ago and it's really painful to think about. Be a bro.
>>220469187 In Netflix Daredevil at least, the Chitauri invasion is the reason why the plot happens and how Fisk is able to amass so much power in the first season. I also remember that the Judas Bullets in Luke Cage was recovered alien technology reformated by Hammer Industries.
>>220469187 Never understood this specific normgroid complaint. What about an alien invasion having happened and been dealt with changes the fact that some guido fucks still harass the local populace with their mafioso bullshit? How do these events coexisting in the same universe stop one another from being realistic?
>>220469229 >>220469239 the whole of civilization would change substantially with proof of life beyond our own world, and yet it all just goes on like nothing happened
I appreciated that the coffee shop family wasn't doing the >Oh my god you're a monster, get out of here! thing after frank brutally executed 10 guys in front of them and were just thankful to be alive and that their daughter didn't get snatched by freaks
>>220469277 Do you think the world they live in the MCU is the same world we live in right now? They have fucking superheroes running around they have superniggers in Africa they know the Nordic pantheon is real and walking amongst them, not to mention the monsters, demons and all the other bullshit and you think a few aliens showing up in New York is enough to forever change the lives of every human being on Earth?
>>220466562 yeah... it was just so boring I lost interest around episode 6 his family were killed, i get it, that was something you dived into in Daredevil season 2 in fact we killed the man responsible for it in Daredevil but then Punisher for the majority of this series is just >my family are dead and I'm not over it :( you're the Punisher, do something I don't care about these boring ass PTSD interspections, I want action I want Frank Castle like he was in Daredevil it was like watching season 2 of these shitty ass shows where it felt like they knew they were getting cancelled and just decided whatever >Bushwhacker becomes just as strong as Luke by... inhaling fumes >and then he just leaves >Danny can do gun-fu... but fuck you if we're gonna explore that I don't know where it all went so wrong... like 10 of the 13 episodes are just moping about his family and doing literally nothing then it remembers this is about The Punisher not PTSD, not stolen valor, not what it means to be a man, not how hard it is to adjust to life after the military, it's about someone taking down bad guys
>>220469416 there isn't one nothing actually happens in this other than frank kills nameless goons and saves a family there's a little girl who's in it for like 90 seconds, a weird bi-polar mommy hallucination of karen has more screentime
>>220469549 yeah but wait until Brand New Day's post-credits is Nick Fury recruiting Frank into the avengers or something and we never seen Ma Gnucci again
>>220467276 I turned it on and within 3 minutes I saw a violent White youth strike and elderly black man in a game of knockout, that is exclusively played with the races reversed. Turned it off and cancelled Disney +.
>>220465983 Shit, I didn't even make it through 4 episodes of the latest Daredevil. Releasing shows when the weather is getting better puts me way behind.
It's remarkable how each Punisher appearance is somehow worse than the last. He started extremely strong in Daredevil season 2, and now we get this dogshit.
>>220469416 Works better in the short because Frank is now genuinely schizo, it's not really him going into therapy as much as it him going through murder withdrawal, hence why it disappears once he gets to kill people again.
>>220469651 This is literally the best we've gotten it. Daredevil season two was dogshit. Remember when he picked up the gatling gun that was all over the ads, shot it twice, and threw it away? No one ever fucking remembers this season.
>>220467463 The dark innermonologues from Frank were some of the best parts of the comics. The incredibly dark sense of humor and how dry he was when crazy shit was happening.
I really loved Frank in Vietnam stories because the origin stories and how was max no fucks given was some of the highest kino I've ever seen in comics.
it was boring desu. OLK wants to be a smart, emotional character study but it feels like a student film. It wants to have something to say but it's got nothing to say. It wants to have style but it's basic as fuck. This'll impress the redditors who think Eternals was an incredible film but no one else. Picrel was a cool shot tho
>>220468896 >You're in an MCU special, Frank >The truth was a burning green crack through my brain. Awful lighting, illuminating my every angle. The repetitious act of shooting, physics being ignored to show off my shitty CG stunts. The paranoid feeling of someone watching my every step. I was in an MCU special. Funny as hell, it was the most horrible thing I could think of.
>>220470001 >OLK wants to be a smart, emotional character study but it feels like a student film. Did it? It was just him killing a couple of dudes while also being bullied by hallucinations
>>220470008 You should probably kill yourself for being an absolute flaming faggot trying to push capeshit kike abortion on the rest of us. You are irredeemable and probably a fat unfuckable nigger or some kike mutant.

>>220470019 You sound clinically retarded with absolutely no testosterone in your body despite pretending you're a tough guy with "balls". Are you Jon Bernthal?
>>220469948 objectively incorrect because I am a comics fag and have a massive Punisher collection and have read pretty much everything he has been in for the last 40 years except some cameos here and there. And I watch this faggot kike abortion. Just hoping they eventually get it right.
>>220470060 >I'm the shill, but you're out here using Marvel words.
So completely mentally ill that they don't realize the word "mutant" has no connotation to Marvel. You must be a mentally ill morbidly obese virgin. Sad. Suicide is your only way out, faggot.
>>220470066 >no rebuttal Enjoy your MCUslop, kikelover. >>220470088 >i-its not m-marvel >p-p-please don't think about x-x-men Looks like the ex-man if you, dilate tranny.

>>220470101 You should really go for that GED since High School didn't work out and maybe have a hope of something beyond the lowest form of labor. But you're probably content to be a fat worthless bag of shit that everyone in your life resents.
>>220470086 You must be a complete fucking faggot. "objectively incorrect" Holy shit, Adam Savage is here to regale us with what really is a Punisher fan.
Kek, just look at this obese disgusting nigger desperately flailing after being named and shamed for being the shabbos nigger that he is. Sad. At least you still got your kike capeshit to keep you occupied. You fat unfuckable tub of shit.
>>220465983 >rich art school jew that's made a career pretending to be a southern tough guy I can't take this guy seriously, he's a bigger faggot than pedro pescal.

Also hilarious it takes you so long to figure how the captcha each time, you dumb fat nigger. You'd probably kill yourself playing with legos, you pathetic cocksucking faggot.
>>220466698 yeah the more I think about it, the more it sucks. it was a good special, had some pretty good kills, had music from early 2000s, but just like his show, it skipped the punishing of the gnuccis and he only put his costume on at the end did get some good action from it though and they left the door open keeping ma gnucci and barry (BARRACUDA?) alive should've been longer with less ptsd trauma therapy because we had enough of that in the show
>>220467390 >>220467213 >>220467122 they don't say it but it's supposedly just before the new Spider-Man movie which is why he's back Punishing and has a purpose and probably why he gets mixed up with Spider-Man, they should've addressed why he wasn't in born again though, they have Karen but don't touch on what he did when kingpin was raging?
>>220467557 Ultron connected to the internet when he was getting boned by Scarlett Botch and airdropped ammo to Turk Barrett who supplied Jigsaw and Gnucci and the CIA Agent Orange guy so they could kill Frank Hassles wife
>>220466640 Daredevil 2 was probably the best actual depiction of him. It had him actually murdering mob people, en masse and without remorse, literally being referred to as a force of nature by the cops. He went to prison and butchered people there, and he really stuck it to Matt, and he had a breakdown but it was more about the fact that he knew that despite all the killing, it would never be enough.
Punisher 1 was alright, but the problem is that it focused too much on Not The Punisher stuff, and more and more it began leaning into making Castle into a "human". The shows wanted him to have flaws, trauma, depression, grief, PTSD, whatever. They literally wanted The Punisher to have a "character arc" where he started the show as The Punisher, and ended the show as someone who had conquered his demons and no longer needed to be The Punisher and could go on to have a normal-ish life.
The problem is, that's not what anyone wants, and that's not who the character is. No one wants Frank Castle to have a house, to mow the lawn, and to go to PTSD support groups. No one cares how he's feeling or if he's growing as a person. The literal entire point of the character is that he is in an endless war, and he has nothing left except the fight. He's not supposed to have a "character arc". He's supposed to be the same fucking guy at the end of the series as he was at the beginning.
And that's why his character just sucked more and more over time, because it stopped being about the character and started being about change.
>>220470135 this is basically for the normies to watch when they see the new spidey movie and go "so who was that guy with the skull on his chest" without having to watch a full season of the netflix show
>>220469571 Nah we'll see Frank in the last episode of season 3 of Daredevil Born Again and it'll be AFTER he killed ma Gnucci and barracuda, he'll also be semi retired
>>220465983 love how punisher 2004 was some low budget shlock but looks like pure kino compared to this and basically any capeshit in the last 15 years
>>220471889 >five year olds and women watching an episode where the funny man that grunt stabs a guy with a pen in the titty and neck, and curb stomps a wop
Every time I think something is egregiously bad I come to this board to see people saying it's the greatest shit ever, I'm surprised you're not all glazing this to hell and back.
>frank wipes out a crime family barring the mother because reasons >whole neighborhood turns into a fuckfest of crime because the mob isnt keeping control of the place >frank has ptsd again ignoring the entire place turning into shit around him due to his actions didnt frank accept it in one of the netflix series that he doesnt do this shit just for himself but others too why are disney retreading the exact same problem frank had back in the netflix shows, motherfucker broke seeing the construction workers trying to murder their colleague, but here he slowly walks past whats basically a criminal warzone even worse theres punisher graffiti on that very street and frank had enough rep to inspire the AVTF goons, so why is that street cred basically forgotten, was it common knowledge that frank was a self-pitying broken man? what the fuck is wrong with jon bernthal if this inconsistent pile of horseshit is his baby?
>>220471953 >was it common knowledge that frank was a self-pitying broken man? yea, the news broadcast said they were the last family living that was connected to his family's murder.
I wonder if Born Again S3 is going to crib that plot point from Devil in Cell Block D where Frank intentionally gets arrested so he could back up and protect Matt in prison
>>220471881 They aren't waiting till the post credit scene for that. https://youtu.be/8TZMtslA3UY&t=74 >1:16 look at the left hand >>220471985 because that implies they knew at least some of his punishing was connected to other people responsible for his family's death
>2002 metalcore >John Bernsteins Punisher actually killing people Not bad at all, John Wick clone was a better idea than him only killing to protect another young girl
>>220471994 Yeah, worst case scenario you sit though around 10 minutes of callbacks and PTSD and have punisher doing more than he did in his show. Wouldn't buy a subscription for it but just torrent it. It'll probably be better than whatever PG shit he'll be doing in BND
>>220472057 Born Again is fine but Bullseye is absolutely the highlight of the show, Frank is in it for like two scenes (although the first moment is actually really good).
>>220471995 would be kino if they did so no they won't do that sadly at most it'll be matt in prison for like 2 or 3 episodes and the only ally he'll have is cole north that avtf mutt
>>220471904 Kids know and love Punisher. During the Brand New Day shoots in the NY street and Tom Holland was greeting people in costume on set, you could hear a twelve year old in the background yelling "WHERE'S THE PUNISHER?!!" https://youtu.be/0aXsrUziMOM?si=vyGjQR9Peu4bOOH1
>scene where he walks through the city and everything has completely turned to shit with drugged-out mexicunts, wiggers and nig nogs running rampant everywhere What did they mean by this?
That tall black dude couldn’t have been Barracuda, at least not a faithful barracuda from Max. He would’ve called Frank a faggot & carrying some machine gun with him during the riot.
>>220473179 It's Barracuda-lite until they greenlight the show, he'll be more Barracud-y in the hypothetical show/movie but it still won't be the one from the comics
>>220473098 It was an ethnically diverse set of criminals (although shouldn't it have been mostly italians, as the street was literally being run by a mafia family?).
While I did like it, I don't think it's really for me, I get it's the cool John Wick action stuff a lot of you like, but I'm more into my actual superheroes, and space stuff, but this was pretty good in the last half for the action, first half was kinda laughable but not bad, just like, this is kinda different and crazy
But I really like that it's a standalone thing, and feels like you don't need to watch anything else to understand Frank Castle, he's a veteran with a dead family, ptsd, and lots of blood on his hands, which is an understatement in this mini movie
If it's on Letterboxed, it'll be 3.5/5 for me, good, but I've watched stuff for me so far this year like Mortal Kombat 2 and Project Hail Mary
>>220465983 I enjoyed it but I don't really get the point.
The whole short kinda hammered into your face that Frank's selfish murders were causing even more death and destruction, but he doesn't ever really confront it and just decides "lol nah im gonna keep going kek"
>thought it would be about him getting out of fisks cage and explain why he isn't around mag dumping on avtf goons in ddba s2 >it's just nothing The fuck was this for?
>>220474885 anon he got out of fisks cage in the season 1's finale post credit scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUY70gGKwmc . It's implied he cared more about hunting the gnucci family before the avtf goons. Meta reason is he was filming this, brand new day and the odyssey.
>>220475200 >asking questions that the movie will answer i don't know anon just wait for the movie to hear their explanation, it might not be good but you'll have your answer
>>220474885 he was originally in ddba s2 but they scrapped all of his scenes (there are set pics of him at the finale protest scene with brett and karen) because they couldnt find a balance of getting him back to skull wearing punisher while also not taking too much screen time away from the plot, so instead they agreed to just give punisher this one shot.
>frank has killed everyone who had anything to do with his familys murder >this leaves him lost and purposeless >his neighbourhood is overrun with thugs due to the power vacuum created by his killings (despite new york having way less crime now apparently, per daredevil) >the widow of his last hit comes to see him face to face and tell him all the thugs will come after him >frank just accepts this and doesnt simply kill her >a small militias worth of thugs arrive, half of them not even carrying guns, to kill a man infamous for being armed to the teeth >the knife-only ones conveniently organise themselves into waves to charge frank whenever hes out of ammo >frank starts killing everyone, shooting on sight despite the fact many civilians are also in the corridors fleeing the thugs. he correctly avoids killing any through his psychic powers >he fights his way out of the apartment block >just as hes going to kill the widow (which he could have done earlier) he realises the real punisher was the friends we made along the way >saves his neighbourhood through the power of Punishing >little girl is impressed by his violent murdering and hugs him, restoring his faith in burning local >also, this whole time, no one, not spiderman, not the thunderbolts, not the task force explicitly created to stop street violence that we just had a whole season dedicated to in the show most closely associated with frank outside of his own show, does anything about the fact frank castles neighbourhood is just the purge >frank castle, now with the approval of Charismatic Black Bodega Owner, declares infitada on global freezers and returns to punishing with a new resolve what was the point in any of that and why did we need to see frank have this arc for like the 14th time? it was just 20 minutes of badly-shot Punishing with no real significance of any kind. it wasnt even about the end of his vengeance. that happened off camera. this was just killing random thugs.
>>220475354 Without this short story, it would be way more weird if Frank came back in the Spider-Man movie as if nothing happened and was just regular punisher again. The whole point of this was to get Frank back to being Frank again, how they got there they didn't really care about.
>>220475385 "regular frank" wasnt ever really about general vigilante-ing though. i think the only time he did that was when he did matt a solid dealing with the hand in dd s2. he was always just about wiping out people who had anything to do with his familys murder. but that aside, when did he even stop being "regular frank" though? did i miss that somewhere?
>>220465983 When he started killing people with that metal song blaring in the background it was pretty neat. Ray Stevenson remains the best interpretation of the Punisher, but this is still among the better things they've released.
>>220475354 >>220476328 >>220476374 The short movie was written by Jon Bernthal, who was also a producer on the Netflix Punisher so part of me suspects it's totally on him and this is simply the kind of story he likes Frank to be in.
>>220476542 >frank misses his family, its super deep, hes a super complex character, i can really do some ACTING >then i burn local for 20 minutes suddenly it all makes sense
>>220476542 >totally on him wouldn't say that at all, just because he is a writer/producer doesn't mean he gets full control. still gets overlooked by feige and the suits at marvel studios, disney+ and disney.
>>220476542 to be fair I don't like his crying little bitch version but that is what a punisher story should be, set up build up then frank franks a lot of people maybe saves some kid, roll credits
>>220476688 I think Daredevil and Punisher actually gets a lot of leeway from Marvel to do whatever the fuck they want, but the tradeoff is that the continuity disconnect between the shows and movies is now ironically back from the Netflix days.
So that's why Matt goes to jail but he's in a normal prison like Rykers instead of a DODC asylum or The Raft, or why Spider-Man will not address Mayor Kingpin at all even as a minor background reference.
>>220476833 >why Spider-Man will not address Mayor Kingpin at all even as a minor background reference. Disagree. Shiela, the female worker for the mayor's office is in the brand new day trailer. We will get a reference of Fisk, not saying it will be a big plot point, and he probably won't have any screen time but there will be a mention of Fisk and the removal of him as mayor.
