Motorslice is really good at making you enjoy the climb of the megastructure, but the parkour (If you can call james heller from Prototype 2 level movement 'parkour') is weak, the platforming is borderline scripted with no means of escaping it, the level exploration is nonexistent (You can go down a different direction but 9/10 it will be a long hallway and a dead end with nothing of interest) and the second biggest crime is that P the character is so fucking slow. Her run speed is terrible, slide speed even worse, clambering speed leaves much to be desired and basic acrobatics are very pathetic. She's meant to do this shit for a living, she doesn't show it. The worst though? The bosses. They are NOTHING in the most literal sense. I'm still mad about the final 'boss' in the game. I'M STILL MAD ABOUT THE FINAL BOSS OF THE GAME.

I recommend AGAINST experiencing it.

Side note since I'm almost certainly obligated to mention this; The devs are brazilian gooners and made the slacker conversations with P a 50/50 between interesting world building or lore that ultimately leads to nothing of real value OR a flashbang of the writer's very blatant fetish that I did NOT consent to have shown to me. I don't care how much of a freeze peech absolutist you are, I don't want foot fetish slop in my video games and I wish I could make steam understand I deserve a refund for it.

I don't even have good things to say about the music direction. It was completely ignorable every step of the way.
Overall the message is very clear, but I will give them credit for two things; The Elder Machines look fantastic. Truly imposing monstrosities of steel. If the titans of SotC were machine, I imagine they'd look like the Elder Machines of Motorslice. They get a single point from me for the art design alone. To summarize, two points out of ten (The megastructure design in general and the design for Bosses, Everything else is GARBAGE.)

I loved the idea of this game and it ultimately resulted in one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had. I had more fun in prototype 2 than I did in this. Like I said before, I feel his review is shit, and it's him making things up to say the game is shit. I feel there are things to criticize about this game without going for low blows. One criticism he made was "this feels like babies' first Unity game," and yeah, as far as I know, this is the dev's first game. What's the point of collecting those orbs ? The screen very briefly mentioned something about them "shielding" me from hits. Except so far I've collected maybe 20+ and haven't been hit yet, since it's all the same enemies that aren't a threat whatsoever.
