Anon they are still averaging a game a month plus updating older titles whether they are big or small. They are literally doing better than even Switch 1 in terms of software output and they are also higher quality if you compare Metacritic scores.

The Switch is not only budget friendly, but also perfect for AA studios to release games on. Its catalogue is honestly amazing. There's just practically no reason to buy a Switch 2 yet. Aside from buying it before the price increase that is.

Also, the same day as RE9 came out, RE7 and RE8 were re-released on the Switch 2 as true ports, instead of the cloud streaming titles on Switch 1. Capcom believes this dampened sales slightly and I agree with this assessment.
One other thing, in typical Capcom fashion, those games went on sale on PC and PS5 very soon after launch. I'm not saying this to insult their quality BTW, it's just a known thing with Capcom, they like offering their 10-20% discounts shortly afterwards to keep sales momentum after the initial launch, it looks good for investors.
