I had already praised Yuki’s event but this one went better since they bothered to introduce mosr of the cast earlier.
Previous one had Chizuru introduce the Kurokage subplot but she was basically just an intermediary to Kaguya Pharmaceutics. Narja and Gaya appeared and didn’t do anything, being relegated to the Trauma Code. Likewise Sereniel only appears in a single scene in part 1 and then her relation to all is relegated to Part 3 but since Part 3 already has to solve the Replica portion they bothered to develop the entire event she felt more like an accessory to all that.
The Replica and Peltion’s involvement was properly done and tied with Primonium and Asuna, effectively finishing the main plot that kickstarted everything and developing more on Protos as well as the subplots started in the Main Story, but the rest of the cast not so much.
Here in Burning Life however we quickly see all these girls having to deal with their own planets that were ruined, as if dragged to Speitz. The story repeatedly nails wishes and sacrifices and everyone here has some work for their duties or murder. While Part 1 dealt more with Nine and seeking to restore her planet, Tiphera nicely fits in since she is also a citizen of a desert planet, drawing parallels to Rico’s civillization and Tiana’s flashback foreshadowing the nature of Burning Life as well.
It’s obvious Part 3 will deal with Rico and Rita but by then we also progressed their subplots as they used the Colossus to expose the sacrifices the coliseum did and the monster it summoned. The event is a pair of the Desert Planets and the atrocities their committed for survival as well as the plants spreading as if to attend those prayers - tying with the parasyte seed subplot that infected the Captain on Verne.
I really don’t have issues with this event so far.

People are exaggerating, but his E2 actually makes him harder to use in this Rift. E2 deals 100% fixed AoE damage every time 2 of his Futility cards are used (I don't know if that counts them getting exhausted), which counts as a hit and triggers the Colossus' mechanics while you're trying to set up for a big hit.

Best Rin build in the current season is probably her Unique card to smack 10 times with spores so Orb set isn't too bad. If you already have a 2/2/2 set with a lot of Atk then just use that.
Orb set isn't as good unless you're willing to farm decks for her. You want the epiph that moves the 2 specific cards to hand and Narja with cost reduction. Pretty similar to Haru or any other unit that wants to spam the exact same card over and over again.
If you can get it to like 8 hits, it's gonna be a flat boost of like 240% dmg which is pretty high for a gear set

Just the three tiph sneed are 9 guaranteed AP on top of the 3 AP for the turn. So I imagine if your cycle power is good enough and the draw order is decent you can very easily have 9-15 AP every single turn.
I don't have that deck so I can't say for sure, but the pieces are there.

Yeah to be honest it's pretty exhausting to farm for especially considering she's not meta by any means. That build gets cucked by the fact the Dark Art:Destruction epiph you want is the only one that doesn't give her Dark Mist stance so you can brick or you need her E3.
Also the optimal Narja deck is slightly different from the others (lile Haru) because you want to get the one card that consumes 5 voracity to give +200% dmg to every hit of the next card.
So you get to farm your 4x divine Narja build again xDddd

Just getting solid decks that work is a pain in the ass itself because it takes so much time and it's not even guaranteed that it will work out, that the right epiphanies will appear or that the run will be doable in the end. This demoralizes me so much that I practically avoid playing the game aside from doing the daily and weekly stuff.

And once the season ends they will be worthless and you'll have to do it all over again. I don't know how many of these do-overs I have it in me. They'll have to make things easier. I honestly find more pleasure in testing out various deck combos and doing stupid or weird shit over building the decks themselves. The process of acquiring the decks is the tiresome part. They should at least add a training mode where one can freely put together whatever deck he wants to and test it on some kind of target dummies with variable settings (passive, endlessly respawning, attacking back, etc...).

Yeah, I completely agree.
I'll say that theorycrafting a build and finally seeing it in action is super gratifying. But I'd love a training mode to test my shit before actually commiting, to tweak the ratios and whatnot. That'd be sweet.
In fact that's why I'd love if one of these gay websites where you can build teams had a "draw hand" functionality to simulate your first three turns or so and tweak ratios, test epiphanies and divine epiphanies.
I may end up developing it myself even as a local app if it doesn't show up.
