Even if I could find an API some of them don't have info I wanted like the current rate I'm being charged so I could project my interest for the month on my balance. If this existed it would be nice yeah don't understand why it doesn't exist.

They already have some ability to do it because in the UK various banks are encouraging you to bond accounts you have at other banks to theirs so you can view them in the same place. But thats party just so they can take a peak at where else you're holding money and how much.
And yes the data formatting and what's included is a bit lacking.
Binance was (is - I don't use it anymore) absolutely fucking horrendous for trying to get your transaction data from.

Middle East getting fucked up first time around was bad if it happens again as the world was recovering it’s gonna be even worse. A lot of the upswing lately was based on the hopeful idea that the oil shortage was gonna be short lived.

Yeah, that's the problem with spreadsheets. I know what this formula does, but not at all how it fucking does it. I'm still trying to figure it out exactly. This isn't even in the top 10 most complicated formulas in this sheet either. I guess I was supposed to name the ranges and cells, but it's too late for that now. My sheet is 578 rows and goes to column QB

Some countries already gave up early on. Pakistan gave up trying to buy LNG for example.
I don't think anyone can afford to give up on diesel and gasoline though, there will be riots.
But there is plenty of crude in storage which can be refined, so it's ok. LNG is harder to store that's why it was fucked from day 1.

the nations who deserve the biggest cuck prize in the world can't buy oil because they're cucked.
India had no issues buying russian oil since putin started the war, pakistan is cucked so it wasn't allowed to. It still isn't allowed to because its cucked. Sovereign nations like india will defeat africa and buy fertilizer. Pakistan will probably starve along with the congo etc.
The top of the food chain is europe and america. They will outbid everyone and there will never be a shortage. Latin america and east asia will lose a lot of money getting their shit but they'll manage. India will partially starve, but the pakis and africans will get hit the hardest

>read about Berkshire Hathaway
>Buffett let CEOs and manager stay even if they underperformed for years
>new CEO wants to sort it out a bit
i do a bit of a read into Berkshire... its just GEICO, BNSF, a utility company, apple shares, AXP, KO, BAC, CVX, and 350B in treasuries they refused to deploy in 2020, 2022, 2025, or this last selloff.
it trades at 16x earnings when you exclude the cash and interest from that cash. despite being down 10% for the year it doesnt seem to be a bargain. BNSF seems to have underperformed the market for years which matches with publicly traded UNP which is only up 12% in the last 5 years.
maybe BRK.B is worth a look on a massive selloff.... it should probably be broken up honestly.

Quick reminder that the market was bought these past two weeks by le smart money (the ones that underperform 90% of the time), while, for once, retailchads stayed away from it. The same retailchads that bought the april dump last year while le smart money was cucked out and stayed away.

they were like that because the stock market had a historic once in a life time run, an insane massive giga rally which normally only happens deep in a bear market
of course they would be happy. So you can't use that as a metric.
to see if this is bearish, you need to look at history. and it turns out massive giga rallies are very bullish 12 months out, AFTER you buy at the top of the rally.
Think about it. If you buy right now, at the top, you are still very likely to do very well over the next 12 months.
I agree it makes no sense, and there will be a pullback, and likely come back down below spy 700 until november, but we will shoot back up after the election like nothing
and spy 770 or spy 7700 will be easy by end of year. That's only a 10% gain YTD. Easy!

the iranians are playing around. they shot some machine guns at a ship. if they were seriously, they'd just shoot a missile and kill everyone on board with the oil fireball.
even their rhetoric has totally shifted. "I will totally kick your ass tomorrow, maybe, in the future!"
it sounds like tough guy talk, but it's just signaling. If they were serious, they'd just go psycho mode, kill some people, then declare the worst is yet to come and the infidels will feel their wrath.

I buy the top, and sell the bottom
I went all in Friday, after selling everything at bottom 2 weeks ago. Ask me anything if you want a reverse indicator. I'll tell you what I think
I've been trading like this since 2014. 12 years of trading, and investing, and I'm negative.. I've lost about 40% of the value of my portfoloio. And I don't even make risky trades.
I was literally all treasuries in 2022, thinking that I was safe, and the bond apocalypse happened
No matter what I do, whether it's tradinhg or investing, I lose.
Since I'm all in right now, an apocalypse is probably about to happen

I only care about gold, and i have aem and wpm. It's 10%.
Gold and oil has an inverse relationship right now, so when oil goes down gold goes up. I also believe in no rate hikes so having 10% is quite nice, gives room to double down if we have a crash

you can be mad but since investing is about making money so lets at least recognize reality.
some EU companies like Airbus are great but its not a booming continent.

should I buy Jan 27' 35$c for WEAT? the calls are cheap and during the Ukraine war it went above 50$ and this is much much worse, reason its so far out is because I have no idea when futures are going to start pricing in the supply shocks

People really don’t understand how absolutely batshit crazy and delusional yurotards are. They live in some strange fantasyland that doesn’t exist, it’s like they are hooked into the matrix and are getting raped in Zion by some room temperature IQ muslim and they don’t even know it.

I don't see how. Let me get straight, this market is completely dysfunctional and should be down -25% at least, but I fail to see what the houdinis would be a problem. if you can't get the oil out from the south, just go north in Suez. There, problem solved.

I played that game (on Switch 1). It was good enough to finish it but I will never play it again and I am very happy that I pirated it. If Nintendo's got more of that coming down the pipeline, yeah they're in trouble.

It's one of those cases where a stock gets amped like crazy because of the idea of Product in a way that Product can never match the expectations of so the actual release turns into an instadump. Plus tariffs and all the ram shit have kept it on a downward trajectory

I lost everything. $27k shorting the most insane and idiotic rip I've ever seen. I still have $250 in bear spreads expiring 4/24 and 5/01. If SPY dips 6% by this Friday, I might recover 50%.

Ethiopia, Sudan and Somalia dont wield much political power. If they tried to setup tolls they'd get bullied for willful disruption of agreed upon routes. the only reason Iran can get away with it is their geography + arsenal.

No, it's just that its PE fucking reached 60 and I made a fucking alert here, and yes it's in the archives.
Proof again the market is completely dysfunctional, nobody looks at the fucking metrics anymore. Now it's back to more reasonable levels, though a bit more than I'd want, but hey nobody looks at the metrics anymore ANYWAY, just fucking vibe retards everywhere.

Oy yeah, don't look at Wallmart's fucking PE. Nor pretty much all the boomer picks on the S&P500. Tech that deliver actual earnings are actually cheap in comparison.

Please shut up. Obviously I'm aware of this, but the intensity of the move here was a statistical anomaly, and it recovered on pure lies and the most clownish headlines and contradictions I've ever seen.
Don't 'well akshully' me like this was normal behavior.
>>
>>
>>62130429
don't feel bad
it was a 99.7%tile move. one of the biggest and quickest rallies, and no one saw it coming
I certainly didn't
but eventually as we got closer and closer to spy 700 I realized it was going to blast through that and then go higher, and I didn't need to keep my shorts and feel that pain all the way up. So I sold all my shorts.
I can just buy them back, at the top, if I want to.
Should the market have moved like that? No. It was crazy and almost unprecedented. but it did, and eventually you need to stop catching a falling knife (in this case in reverse)
you can always buy shorts again once it tops.

pool still closed w/ admin pulling every bullshit move out of their ass to prevent asset deflation. god forbid someone other than geriatric pensioners can afford to buy a house. running out of ammo here sweety, not much but hot air under this mess. that said if the 401k flows continue it very well could end in a blow off. getting really fucking tired of the "market knows" schtick. it usually does but there are plenty of instances where spot existed in wonderland

I already know how to program. Did it for almost 20 years. If I wanted to recreate my spreadsheets, each one would probably take days of effort at least, even with Claude/ChatGPT' shelp, and I'd basically have to build a UI not much different from a spreadsheet anyway. It'd be more focused, but also harder to tweak.
Excel is more fun.

I just hate feeling like I 'need to make it back'. I oversized my short when it rebounded to $650-660, thinking the market would reprice the fake news but it's refused to so far. I was nearly back to breakeven when the 'peace deal' failed, but then an hour into open Trump Truth'd and it exploded up again. Aside from the momentum, everything was reading like a really good setup to go short to me and I oversized it, then doubled down, until ruin.
>>62130466
Agree with this completely, this is different than covid or tariffs and comparing by price action alone is idiotic.. OPEX was 4/17, hopefully it starts to correct back down since nothing has been resolved.
>>
>>62130378
Verly large tankers cannot pass the canal fully ladden, they have to unload before entering, have the oil transported to the opposite end via pipeline, then reload. I think that process may lead to capacity problems if there's too many tankers doing this, but I don't know desu.

>>

it happened last year also.
you and the other guy saying it was fraud, insane, bullshit, idiotic, fake.
thats still NOT learning.
that guy calling covid the money printer is funny... markets came back up when we learned covid wasnt as deadly as we first thought. money printer later send stocks even higher.

>>62130629
This is not the same tariffs. Trump campaigned on tariffs, so it should've came as no surprise when he acted on it and a rebound was no suprise. And COVID was an absolute money printer (who knows, this might be too). Tariffs are more similar than COVID, but those were something fully within the control of Trump to toggle and pause/resume, and once he signaled he would the market forward looked past it to recovery.
The situation in Iran is fundamentally different, it involves parties hostile to the US and the damage to the oil supply is already done, just not yet absorbed. This can't be toggled on/off at Trump's whim as much as he likes to pretend that's the case on Truth social. Market's pricing in a very optimistic timeline that I think is impossible to meet realistically, or it's assuming insane money printing. I think this rally was largely mechanical as a squeeze and going forward it'll be priced in more accurately.
