Coming from /lmg/ whose guide made sure I knew the difference between a frontend, backend, and an instruct base before getting to the installation part.
The guide here seems to go straight to downloads and installation. Is that okay? There's no reading I need to do? Language I should be familiar with?
I could lurk some more but I'm not sure how much it would help in this case.

It's really not that deep, just open a workflow and gen some 1girls anon you can pick up any required technical knowledge as you go, or none, you can get by learning nothing about this shit if you're happy with the basics

Tell that to your friend’s girlfriend. That graph is from a hookup app, this don’t represent how most women choose long term partners. If 90% of women only chose men based on looks, most women would be single and they’re not, prove it with real world data.

Honestly Mr. Lubimiv is incredibly lucky. He is prime lolcow material. Comically incompetent, yet has a massive ego. Extremely combative due to his giant unearned ego size of Saturn. Has zero self-awareness about how inept he is and how crazy he comes off as. Wastes his entire day with the most ludicrous antics imaginable.
The only thing that saves his ass is the fact that making slop is typically regarded as a stupid brown hobby not even worth stalking and he chooses to rot all day on a general with like 5 users instead of somewhere he can be seen so he falls outside of kiwi radar.
Had he attached himself to a just slightly more popular and well regarded hobby/subculture, he could have easily turned into the next Chris-chan.

I humbly beg you anons for help.
I'm doing a project for university, which includes local diffusion generated images.
The issue is that I need to generate multiple images with character(s), but each image is generated independently.
I want the characters and setting to remain as consistent across images as possible, but that seems hard to do.
My best workaround so far is to just put uncomfortable levels of detail into each prompt describing the characters and scene, is there some better way or is that the only solution I have?
Assume for the sake of argument that I have no access to the generative engine beyond the prompt.
Surely you gooners have some workarounds to make it happen, if nothing else because I see you generate characters vaguely resembling characters from popular media.
Thanks in advance anons, my bussy is yours for any help.

Hello /ldg/, please spare a moment for a retard. I'm giving local image gen a shot and pretty much only do anime stuff and want to try out a few models. From what I've gathered it seems illustrious finetunes, anima, and noobai seem to be the most commonly suggested? Anything major I'm missing? Thanks :)
>>
>>108271836
Yes thats pretty much it, noobai EPS, noobai vpred, WAI illustrious and WAI shufflenoob (vpred and eps), there are the random shitmixes to try too if you are adventurous but those are the most common ones
>>
>>108271836
Correct. IL is still standard for anime stuff
your main choice is whether you want a stable shitmix (very easy to use and stable) or an unmerged tune (e.g. base IL or Noob) which has more creativity but also more bad seeds and more bad prompts.
Anima is a good sidegrade, has better details out of the box and understands spatial/natural language prompting.

Fuck!!. It was planned for January, then February 27th, and now this. Chenkin bros I’m not feeling well. I'm feeling the flop it in my bones. I’ve already lived this with Pony, ZiB. This is flopping hard, they fucked up somewhere, and now they don’t know how to resume the work.

So what's this? So many Noob variants in last few months can't keep track of them all. It seems to be just RF, some step distillation and nebulous aesthetic tuning? At least the CabalResearch one bumped up the vae.
Not that I think there is any reason to give a shit about any of these besides vague curiosity while anima exists.

Is an updated EPS model and I really like it. Chenkin and Laxhar seem to share the same direction when it comes to making models, which isn't something I feel with Bluvoll or whatever it's called. But I like it in general, I usually use Chenkin 0.1 (didn't like 0.2) as the base and Chenkin RF as the refiner for color. And until yesterday I didn't know that Chenkin RF also supports Illustrious and Noob LoRAs, you have to put them after the SD3 flow node. I lower their weight by -0.1 or -0.2.

If you are referring to Anzhc's work that doesn't replace Qwen, just uses clip for supplementary guidance. I think it's interesting how "reasonably well" it works (when used with his fixed one at least), but doesn't offer much in practice.
Nevertheless that's different from being stuck with it as the sole text encoder.

Interesting, but still don't feel like bothering. If I had massive amount of free time, maybe.
>And until yesterday I didn't know that Chenkin RF also supports Illustrious and Noob LoRAs, you have to put them after the SD3 flow node. I lower their weight by -0.1 or -0.2.
The more extensively they train, the worse this will work.

NoobAI, Illustrious, WAI, and any other popular shitmix checkpoint are all part of the same SDXL family. Anima is not. I'd probably just focus on getting good at prompting anima until a non-preview version is released.

Speaking of which zero expectation of ditching anima for it but I am interested in how this thing will work out (if it ever gets finished):
https://huggingface.co/TheRemixer/NoobAI-Flux2VAE-RectifiedFlow-0.3-U- REPA-New-CLIP
I am curious how well Anzhc's fixed clip will work in practice. It performed A LOT better than standard clip when comparing results using anima clip adapter. (Though I compared it with the normal clip, not base noob one, so I don't know how much of the improvement is his own work.)

I had been doing something like that, but wasn't sure how different the final version would be. Hopefully less insistent on letterboxing. Is it too late to autocrop all black bars and borders out of the dataset? Genning those is a complete waste of time and electricity.

I think this just refers to using nvfp4?
Now it has very good quality for its size, but I think people thinking they will have 60% less vram use running the same bf16 model after driver update are setting themselves up for disappointment?

I don't really get those. The negative prompt I use for anima very closely follows the long example from this guide because anima seems to like bloated schizo prompts even more than SDXL: https://civitai.com/articles/9695/f-best-negative-prompt-for-noobai-xl

I can confirm comfy's dynamic ram update does work. I used use UnetLoaderGGUFDisTorch2MultiGPU's node with virtual_vram_gb set to 4GB for WAN22. I tried setting it to 0 and surprise! No OOM's. My gen times are similar. Nothing is slower, so I don't know what anons are on about.
