It is indeed, I have both. I love them personally, really nicely made figures, smooth joints, beautiful paint work for the most part with very few, very minor blemishes here and there (Tyrande suffered from this more, I actually have an unfortunate eye paint blemish, but that's just bad luck).

Their articulation is very nice for the most part, the ankle range is a little more restricted than I'd like, but aside from that it's good and they actually balance decently which is impressive considering their physiques. You have to be careful with how you handle the upper torso part as it's a painted soft plastic, but the breasts are hard so if you squish it too much the paint can crack.

They both have a fair amount of removable outfit parts, but some bits like Sylvanas's legs, the feet, Tyrande's arms etc. are sculpted so no full nakedness. The soft-good parts are beautiful especially Sylvie's cloak and their accessories are all really nicely done. Sylvanas's face is a little bit off proportioned in that her features are a touch too large for the head, they did better on Tyrande, but the likeness is very good and it still looks great. She also has moveable eyes which Tyrande doesn't. The weapons fit perfectly in the hands and they can actually support their weight very well, which is a feat considering how large the bows/glaives are. They are about 7 and 1/4 inches.

Just in case, there is another company, I believe it might be Fury Toys, that recently teased they are working on a Sylvanas. Also I'll add this Sylvanas is a pinkish tone, because she is based off the cinematics, so if you were after a classic grey/blue one then you might want to hold off to see what Fury or maybe Mety if they do one, but otherwise yeah I think they are awesome.

No worries. I just wanted to mention the face in case, I personally don't have an issue with it she looks great to me, it was just a thing I noticed. If you get her I think you'd be very happy, she feels really good in hand. I forgot to add, the armour pieces like the shoulder, hood, bra part etc. are a softer plastic rather than hard, so they don't impede articulation. The shoulders in particular are actually on ball joints attached to little rings around the butterfly joints, and she comes with an optional set of rings without the ball part in case you want to display her without the shoulders, which is really nice.

A big majority of issues with seamless bodies are in the elbow/knee joints. So if it's a seamless torso with plastic arms/legs, it'll probably be fine. Never heard anyone complain about Animester figures.

In my experience they last about 5 years before they start showing signs of degrading. Whenever I'm going to take pics of mine I gently wash and powder them, because they accumulate dust and stuff like crazy. Most people suggest you oil them up too every once and awhile so they don't crack.

I haven't had any 1/12 ones long enough to say, but I will say it's kind of a pain that this one and the animester ones don't have a silicone part you can easily separate. The fogtoys ones seem like they do so that's nice, but still a proprietary thing that you probably won't be able to replace easily when it falls apart.

I bought her on a whim, because she looks fun. Ended up being disappointed on the lack of forward movement of her legs. The torso not being articulate was fine, you can always make up for it with the forward leg bends, but unfortunately that is lacking on this release. I've heard people say silicon oil, but I'd check with some 1/6 collector forums to see what people are using. Materials have changed a bit.

Seems like that figure is a 1/6th so at least that's relatively standardized and you could always just replace the body. The true dumb money is all the upcoming 1/12 figures with varying silicon parts that will be hard to clean and impossible to replace.

The prices are not that much different than they have always been. And they have been selling separate accessories since the very beginning. Like literally the armored wolf girl had a cape, and pretty much every figure after that had jackets sold separately. If you're buying these figures from Japanese sources, they're like $60-$70 and that's including the feet packs and accessory packs.

Funny thing is, when they include a lot of accessories, and have the parts all included, people still bitch and cry. The Pumpkin Princess had a whole ass pumpkin mech and like a whole rack of huge weapons for it, and was like $120 and people whined that they wanted a stripped down version with none of the accessories.

Then when they do shit like that for figures, people still cry because they're not happy.

Companies being greedy is shitty, but must consumes literally complain no matter what they they put out there.

The figure was Halloween and candy themed. She was also literally one of the first characters the originally showed off when they dumped a bunch of art right around the time the line even started.

That's what stopped me from getting Lustia the succubus despite liking her harem inspired outfit. The more "stiff' tummy and pelvis in one piece design just feels and looks a lot more solid.

I agree not being able to move legs up can really hinder enjoyment. I have the same feelings towards motu Origins and considered kind of shaving down a bit of their loincloths in the front to get a bit more forward leg movement.

I do wish their articulation was better and I’m hoping other companies step up and give us both what we want. It can be done. Like with Quinn Lee, although she too has detractors. Some people don’t like that Revoltech style articulation but it works.

HobbySearch has few last bodies with articulated titties, but I don't want to fall below level of savings I had last month, I'm considering UMP45 figma, which is also running out, because I like GFL, couple pre-orders from orzGK might come this month meaning I'll have to pay shipping fees, and I'm considering getting whole Rapid Bunny Action Squad because I like girls with guns in general, bunnysuits are nice, they have some nice faces and apparently their bases serve as containers for parts as well so I'll be able to copy that design when making some of my projects. I actually really like Grisa. She's currently my favorite Snail Shell because unlike others, everything just feels really solid and thick without any tiny parts that feel like they will break. I also like the shortstack proportions compared to all the other tall girls. Looking forward to snail girl since her design came from the same artist.

As for the pricing, considering they don't have to spend money on licensing for their OCs, you would think they'd be a little cheaper. But I have kind of accepted that import toys will run like $45-65 and that's on the low end. Most Snail Shells are still around that range. Anneliese with all her accessories for $60 I thought was okay. But a couple more faces would have helped.

They've been doing it with new characters, exceptions are in releases of old characters to ensure compatibility, and in remolds like Angela who comes from Muse/Lustia's sculpt and gives them alternate parts.

Though honestly I'd just prefer they just give up on assplate altogether even if it causes compatibility problems with old figures. Or even if they sold it as a DLC part like they do with angela's silicone ass. The Grisa/Garu/Maid ass style is nicer.

Nikkes will all get the good ass tech it seems because they were designed later. But other lines are inconsistent. Brave Wolf and tactical fox have a plate even though I don't think they reuse from anyone. Snail might have Grisa's set up since same artist. Can't really tell on the ninja. Basically anything that is coming from their backlog of prototypes will probably be stuck with a plate if that's how it was initially designed because they aren't updating anything from the proto. But new figs like Nikke or the beach maid will have the improvements

I really like tickling, and feet, and tickling feet. But no figures/displays really lend well to it. No expressive feet and the laughing faces arent exaggerated enough. No good feathers, gloved mechanical hands/restraint accessories. Where are the figures for tickle lovers?

So I checked my Snail Shell Modernia and discovered the stand has heavily warped. Also one of the magnets in her shirt has disappeared. Wtf?? I had left her in the crouched shooting pose next to her gun on my shelf for a while. I’m wondering if possibly the magnets in the shirt attracted the screws in the stand causing it to get warped otherwise I don’t know why it would because there was no significant unbalanced pressure on it besides the gun and her hand loosely resting on it. But that still doesn’t explain how the magnet disappeared… I don’t see any tears or openings in the shirt for it to have fallen out of.

Anyone else had the issue with warped stand arm though? Is there anyway to fix it because heat didn’t work for me though maybe I didn’t use enough

whatever happened to your stand, it's not from the magnets. its not strong enough to fuck up anything in your stand. its more likely that it was warped out of the boxed and you didnt notice it the first time or heat from a nearby source warped it. as for the magnets, theyre probably stuck to each other so just check if one of the magnets is taller than its supposed to be

Don't expect her top to come off. I have the BFS Court of the Dead chick who uses pretty much the same build and her bustier is permanently fused to her upper chest. The skirt is a floating piece though, but that actually comes off more annoying then sexy to be honest.
