Though it's actually pretty funny, people talk about quality of modern lego vs. the old stuff and I discovered when going through all my old lego a while back and organizing it that almost all of the blue bricks from the 90s had the same "brittle blue" symptom that some bricks from the 2000s had, literally crumbling in my hands. The difference is that Boba Fett was a cool badass bounty hunter who was completely unique looking. Phasma was just a Stormtrooper with chrome armor and a cape.

And she just got dealt with in such a goofy, weird way in the first movie, and then seems to come back in a "Somehow, Phasma came back" in the second movie. If they angle was that they were trying to make some "cool badass" marketable character they just failed because she was just a non character to begin with. Who didn't even look all that cool either.

Oh absolutely. The curious thing is I think there were a couple of cool looking lowlifes in TFA. It’s just they didn’t ever do anything. Like pic related. I don’t know anything about him. He was going to hire Finn or something. Wasted opportunity. He should have had a character moment. And then show up later. Remember That random stormtrooper who yells traitor? second year is really neat with how the bad guy sets are a bunch of fucked up mutant sea creatures, really good about the translucent parts too
